Vendakka (Ladies’ finger) mezhukkupuratty

Ingredients

  1. Ladies finger  –  1/4 kg
  2. Red chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
  3. Turmeric powder  – pinch
  4. Salt  – To taste
  5. Curd  – 1/2 tea spoon
  6. Oil  – 1 table spoon
  7. Curry leaves – few

Cut ladies finger in to small round pieces. Add red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt in to the pieces and mix well.

Then put it in a frying pan . Add  1/2 spoon curd to negate the stickiness of ladies finger. Close the pan with a lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Then open the lid and add oil and curry leaves.Stir well  for 5 to 10 minutes in low flame till it becomes dry. Serve with rice.
